In an unrelated post to The Antimatter Studio, but amazing nonetheless is the new Star Trek movie.

After the last disappointing attempt to revitalize the franchise through Nemesis (why the hell did they think killing data off would be a GOOD idea still beguiles me) enter J.J Abrams to  clean up the mess, sweep the cobwebs out of the corners, give it a fresh coat of paint and fire the house maid that was raiding the fridge and not dusting off the dilithium crystals.

Even if you’re not a Star Trek fan this movie will ACTUALLY keep your attention and not lecture on quantum physics or the effects of signal degradation inheirant to nanosynthetic transmission. Yeah I went there.

Also to all of the diehard Trekkies out there like myself, all of the goodies are still there and all of the jokes, series references, call outs, easter eggs etc. can be found and you wont walk out feeling like you watched Die Hard 5 in space with starfleet Uniforms on.

Honestly I couldn’t find a thing wrong with this movie, and I tried hard, real hard.

Go see it and have fun and be stoked, be very stoked.
